Terms of Service
Last updated October 2, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Pickt for use of the Pickt website, apps, and browser extension (together, “Pickt”). By creating an account you agree to them. Questions: support@pickt.tv.
Accounts
You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of, or otherwise authorized by the parent of, any child whose profile you create. You are responsible for your login, your family PIN, and everything done in your account. Keep your PIN private.
What Pickt does and doesn't do
Pickt is parental-control software. It decides which addresses a Pickt browser on your child's device may open, based on the lists and settings you choose. Pickt does not host, own, or review the videos and websites you approve; they belong to their creators and are provided by their own sites under those sites' terms. You are responsible for what you approve.
No filter is perfect. Approved sites can change, AI Shield can make mistakes, and a determined child may find a way around device controls. Pickt is a tool to help you, not a substitute for supervision.
Membership and billing
Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the Billing page; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Free trials convert to a paid plan unless cancelled before the trial ends. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice by email. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Acceptable use
Don't use Pickt to break the law, to monitor anyone other than a child in your care, to interfere with the service or other families' data, or to copy or resell the service. We may suspend accounts that do.
Shared lists
When you share a list, anyone with the code can copy its links and titles. Don't share anything you wouldn't want another family to see.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend accounts that break these terms. Sections about disclaimers, liability, and disputes survive.
Disclaimers
Pickt is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and that the service will be uninterrupted or catch every unsuitable item.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Pickt is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for content on third-party sites, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
Changes
If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will email account holders at least 30 days before the change takes effect.
